As I look into my mirror What do I really see? I see a face of sorrow ----- And that face belongs to me.
It's the face that used to smile Back at me each day ----- Before I lost the love That made it look that way.
It now betrays my loneliness ----- Is that a tear within my eye? Yes, I can see the heart-break That makes me want to cry.
I tried to hide my feelings ----- In hopes they'd disappear But looking in the mirror ----- I can see that they're still here.
Yes, my mirror tells a story Of a love that ceased to be, I see a face of sorrow ----- And that face belongs to me.
