The home of the brave
And the land of the free
This country of mine
Means so much to me!
Though we weren't there
On that long ago day
When the papers were signed,
We know what they say.
We're all free to worship
In our own way ---
We can live our own lives
Each and every day.
Of course there've been troubles
There were wars won and lost,
Through blood, sweat, and tears
We've all paid the cost.
Through good times, and bad
We are still free
Let's thank those who died
So this could be.
We have survived ,
And I'm glad it is so
And those who don't like it ---
Are all free to go!!
