Moving Day

My moving day lasted for over a week It was just like a game of hide and go seek I hid everything well --- in a box here or there When I look for something --- it's not anywhere.
I thought I'd remember each hiding spot But where is the coffee, and my coffee pot? Someone must have moved them --- I put them here Or was it in that box --- or that one? oh dear!
Now, who put the dishes in the bed room? And why isn't the dustpan somewhere near the broom? My pans are in this box --- but where are the lids? I get in a frenzy and yell at the kids!
Turn down that TV! No, I can't find the guide --- Just shut it off and go play outside. When will diner be ready? How would I know?! With my kind of luck --- about midnight, or so.
How will I ever get through this terrible mess God only knows --- It's anyone's guess! I suppose I'll survive --- as I have before --- And swear that I'll never move anymore!!
