He Carried Me

He left His footprints in the sand

As He carried me ---

And on the cross, He gave His life,

So I could be set free.

He carried me through the hard times

When I felt I couldn't survive ---

He brought me to where I am now,

So glad to be alive!

He is ever in my heart,

I give Him thanks each day

For the miracles and happiness

That He has sent my way.
