Forgiveness

God above forgives us

When we do something wrong

He knows that we're not perfect

And we're not always strong.

If we'd follow His example

How much greater we would be

Forgiveness isn't weakness

It makes us strong --- you see.

Have faith in those you love

Stand by them all the way

Show them your forgiveness

If they should chance to stray.

Let them know you love them

Open wide your heart

Always treat them kindly

As you strive to do your part.

Never judge another's deed

Be it good or bad

For you have no way of knowing

The reason that he had.

You cannot read another's mind

Or look into his heart

So if he falls along the way ---

Help him make another start.

Give him your forgiveness 

And show to him your love

We were all created equal

By our Father up above
