This Book Of Poems

This book of poems -- I've written

For each and every one

In some ways they reflect my life

And things that I have done.

Some are inspirational

Some of them are sad

Yet, all of them are true of life

Whether it be good or bad.

Some of them are funny

Some are pure imagination

Some show hope and courage

And some show desperation.

So I hope this book of poems

May help you in some way

To know we all have troubles

In our lives from day to day.

To see that we may laugh at some

And work the others out

To know what can or can't be changed

And what life is all about.

To know there is a God above

And good folks on this earth

So it's really up to each of us

To prove what we are worth.
